Afternoon tea at Harvey Nics!

So, when my parents were here, we went there for tea and I saw that they had some nice strawberry inspired afternoon tea at the restaurant for charity brilliant!!! So, I decided to go for some nice afternoon tea at Harvey Nics as I was in desperate need of some cakes and scones! Also, since I missed Keira’s birthday dinner I thought we girlies could hang out for some yummy tea!! =D Great idea yaaaa??? I’m so clever!! So off we went, Keira, Amanda and me, to wonderful high tea! O-M-G!! …gawd no I didn’t mean to make that rhyme on purpose! But oh well, anyway some pictures of our delightful tea!

Yummy scones! You know whenever I think or see scones…I think of my dad coz he was obsessed with them when he was here in London!! haha! He kept on asking for afternoon tea!! He didn’t enjoy La Duree very much tho hmmm…

This sponge was my favourite as it was fluffy and not too sweet! I think the gurls agreed that this was the best too! I just watched them eat the cakes like it was nothing…it was too sweet for me and I got a nice sugar rush and felt a little bit sick after only eating half of eveyrthing!

Yummy food in the middle of no where

I hang out alot with danya as Im sure everyone knows by now and her mum always takes me out for nice food. Thank you!!!! =D So they took me to this yummy place somewhere in Sheer??? Yeh…somewhere near guildford…..I think? It’s a restaurant that was recommended by michelin guide and it was sooo yummy!!! The beef was uber delicious!!!! But first for starters:

Couldn’t finish my pub food…burger…I wasn’t even hungry to be honest but thought I should feed myself so I dont wilt away -_-”"”….

Hopefully my tummy gets better for more yummy food! Taa for now xx

Helloo

been mia sorry!!!!!! Just been really hectic with jobs and family/friends coming to visit! Usually when parents are around I go MIA like permanently and have no social life which is kinda sad but I guess kinda good for my wallet in some ways =). Anyhoo, I managed to sneak off to an udon restaurant called Koya at Soho for Eddie’s bday! And Im glad he chose that place! Yummy Yummy UDON!!!! I would love to go back and have already asked my other friends to join me there for dinner! Here are some not so good quality pics! haha! Emm…who wants to buy me a camera???

My very yummy plain udon noodles…I wasn’t feeling very well or hungry so I opted for something simple =). MUST TRY OTHERS NEXT TIME!!!! O_O

Eddie’s miso and pork udon? I think it’s pork..I know it’s miso =)…yum yummm….

And then Jan and Keira brought hummingbird cupcakes!! Yummmmm….Anyway…sorry I’ve been MIA again..will update more frequently next week once parents leave!

Hawksmoor Liverpool st

OK..

I really liked this steak house..I didn’t, however, enjoy my journey around liverpool street trying to find the damn place!! Ppl who own the restaurant…pls make you sign BIGGER!!!!!!! I can’t believe I walked pass it like several times and so did my friends -_-…anyway it’s pretty good and the portions are huge and yummy =). We ordered what..I think 2 kilos worth of meat to share between the 9 of us? It was fun!! Good meat too yummmmm! We were all so hungry we ate pretty much everything and omg…the dessert….gorgeous!!! Chocolate brownie which was moist and soft with salted caramel ice cream……*DROOOLLLL*!!!

Drink for 2…OMG….was HUGE!!! as you can tell Im sure…and well..with an empty stomach..haha!! It’s for 2 ppl btw..

Chroma/Tryst/Symphony in C

Hello!

Just a quick post about Ballet..yes…I went to Ballet with Danya and her family as I’ve never been to one before =). It was modern ballet and I must admit it was abit bizarre at first with all the artistic lighting and props on stage but I strangely found myself enjoying every minute of it. Did I mention how flexible they were? FREAKY!! I especially loved Chroma and Symphony in C =). Yes, it was split into three parts with long breaks in between thank god!!! And now for some pics:

Urm….yeah….I only managed to get a shot of my starter pea soup with goats cheese…yes the white thingy..haha I was too hungry and wolfed my main course down before taking a picture!

Chicken hearts @ Yoisho

I think some of you know by now my latest obsession is eating yummy grilled chicken hearts =D hehehehe so here are some pics of me munching at Yoisho with the Mayz and Princess Livi:

And not forgetting the very yummy kimchi pork fried rice >_< drooolll!!

I really like eating at Yoisho eventho they can be very very slow sometimes…And I guess it’s always good knowing lots of Japanese ppl go there for food hehee. Nothing beats the day like some warm sake with quail eggs and chicken hearts >_<…yakitori I love u!!!

Something I made awhile ago…

Mmm I made 2 versions…one with mixed herbs..salt and pepper….and then this one above with spices…coriander seeds…cumin..paprika..tumeric…I found that the spices enhanced the flavour of the meat even more which was yummers! Just popped them under the grill =)……..nom nom nomm…

Yummy French Food

Hello again.

Went out with Danya and her mum last weekend for food. I wasn’t going to say no to good food and Danya and her family always takes me to yummy places to eat!!!! YUMMMMM!!! Its this little french place somewhere in Chelsea..haha! I know I should have gotten the name or card or something! Well, Ill definitely be going back there so I will remember to get the name next time!!! We had starters, mains and dessert!!! Yes we were hungry!!

Just coz its pretty =).

My very delicious starter of grilled king prawns…which is just normal sized prawns…haha! Seafood in London is nothing like seafood back home where everything is just huge and fresh!!!!! Anyway, linguine and tomato sauce…YUMMMMMMMMM!!!! DROOOLL!! Oh,..theres like tiny crayfish in there too =).

Danyas lovely mushroom risotto creamy and gorgeous!!

My awesome huge and i mean huge!! Grilled ribeye steak! Medium of course with some lovely side dishes to share between the three of us. I know lots of people who will LOVE this!!! Seth???!!

Danyas dessert! Apple and raspberry crumble with custard was it? Dont remember it was yummy =). Note the 2 holes. Yes, we dug into it before I took the picture haha!

My dessert!!! Chocolate Fondant…sex on a plate!!! OMG!!!!!! Was orgasmic!!!!!  to DIEEEEEE FORRRR!!!! Gawd! I need my chocolate fix! Jie u will LURVE!!!!!
